It would be nice to be able to create admins that had selective access to the various employees within the company.

For example, in a multi-site company that has 5 locations, have a payroll admin/general manager that sees and controls all employees. The 5 managers of each location, would then be only able to see their specific employees.

This would also be useful when an owner(s) of a company does payroll and wants to grant admin access to a manager, but does not want the manager to have access to the owner's paystub information.

It would be useful for businesses to create a payroll calendar for the whole year to send to employees to remind them to sign in for timesheets, or deadlines for submittal of the timesheets.

There are about 6 ways to send data to VMP from within QB. 3 of them just send data as of the day you're sending, the others allow you to select a date range that can be expanded in the event that paychecks have been post-dated (which is often the case, espcially with those using direct deposit).

Add the ability to simulate how much the paycheck would be as the pre-tax deductions such as 401k are changed. This would allow me to get a clear picture of a "what-if" a lowered/increased my pre-tax deductions and how it would affect my bottom line. A simple scroll function could achieve that and as you scroll up or down, all other amounts would be automatically updated.

if administrators send W-2s to the MyTaxFolder by mistake, they should be able to remove/delete them without emailing support and requesting their removal

We've tested printing pay stubs in Fedora, but have heard problems from other linux distros. Are you having problems? Please let us know and what distro you're using.
