Error: Duplicate headers received from server, when attempting to save a PDF of a pay stub.

01/18/2012 – THIS HAS BEEN FIXED

When attempting to save a pay stub as a PDF you get the following error:

Duplicate headers received from server
The response from the server contained duplicate headers. This problem is generally the result of a misconfigured website or proxy. Only the website or proxy administrator can fix this issue.
Error 349 (net::ERR_RESPONSE_HEADERS_MULTIPLE_CONTENT_DISPOSITION): Multiple Content-Disposition headers received. This is disallowed to protect against HTTP response splitting attacks.

This error is caused by recent changes to Google Chrome. The PDF file you are trying to save has the name as “Last, First” and Google Chrome doesn’t like the comma.

We are working on a fix for ViewMyPaycheck to avoid this issue.

In the meantime, as a workaround, you can use Internet Explorer or Firefox to successfully save a PDF of your pay stub.
